Launch of 2 paintings from the Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen

Documents from the two Rembrandt paintings from the collection of the Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen are now available on The Rembrandt Database. The “Bust of an old man” and “Man with plumed beret” have been studied with X-radiography, infrared light, UV, etc., and samples have been taken of these paintings in the (recent) past. 45 documents pertaining these studies can now be viewed on the website.
Thanks to Mette Bette Kokkenborg, research coordinator at CATS (Centre for Art Technological Studies and Conservation) at the Statens Museum for Kunst this documentation was made available.
