The Rembrandt Database shows a selection of the data in the online databases of the RKD - Netherlands Institute for Art History in The Hague. The collection management system (Adlib) of the RKD was partly customized for this use. The user interface is a derivative of the general RKD interface www.rkd.nl based on the Apache Lucene Solr platform and makes use of the IIP image server system.
